We are looking for highly motivated, energetic individuals to join our collaborative team at Mount Sinai and help push transplant medicine forward. Candidates will work on exciting projects in transplantation and immune-mediated kidney diseases using human samples and/or mouse models of organ transplantation. Heart transplant procedures are performed by our microsurgeon.
The candidate will also have the opportunity to work with human donor kidneys undergoing ex vivo normothermic machine perfusion, a translational research platform that allows the study of organ function, injury mechanisms, and therapeutic interventions prior to transplantation.
